The mangoes that impressed me the most were from Vietnam. It was in 2004 when our family went to Vietnam for a trip. Early in the morning, I strolled to a fruit stand and saw that the mangoes were big and beautiful, so I bought a few, which cost 50 yuan. According to our living standards at that time, it was also very expensive. The Vietnamese people must have seen my greedy eyes when looking at the mangoes, and they slapped me hard. After all, I did eat mangoes that were ripe on the tree. Our family enjoyed the meal very much. This experience of eating mangoes changed the impression of the half-ripe and bitter mangoes we had eaten in Beijing. In our family, mangoes from Vietnam are the best.
